Mr Death, your head is on fire (Fill it with amber, fill it with amber) How did it come that this should transpire? (His head's filled with camphor, head's filled with camphor) Mrs Wildgoose and Dr Feethams (Catching the bus, climbing the stairs) Mr Death is meeting them there (Sitting alone in the smoking section) Mr Death, now what shall we do? (Pack his head with asbestos, head with asbestos) And how we will see that no harm comes to you? (Cut it and stick it and mend it with glue) (Ring the bell, sound the alarm Ring the bell, over the top) Underneath are wounds you can't see That I can't shake, and I can't heal Romarin sauvage, marguerite géante Coquelicots blancs et rouges, bleuets de France

The magpie failed, but tried her best To teach the other birds how to make a nest But the cuckoo was rude, and the pigeon just cooed "Take two, take two..." Then the magpie said, "No, that's not the way And you're not listening to a word that I say" The owl - aloof, unimpressed And the pigeon just guessed, "Take two, take two?..." Take two, ah-ha "Oh well,", said the magpie. "I tried my best, No longer will I teach how to build a nest" And that's why to this day no bird's nest is the same If you take two, take two...

I take a look around I look despite myself I walk into the garden You are here by my side But how could this be? I look despite myself The sound of fallen leaves Is now the sole resonant sound There are bruises on your face As blood runs from my eyes But how could this be? Once lost, and never found Lost once, then never found The last living rose The garden in my dreams Is home to you and me But nothing of it's real All is fantasy

Let's go to the LHC, it's time to find the real article Going down to CERN, join the search for the God particle It's where all the cool kids do the Higgs boson bop Existing for mere nanoseconds, decaying to photons and more It's gonna put particle physics back on the dance-floor They have no spin or colour charge Only one in ten billion collisions result in a boson It happens when a lead ion travelling near the speed of light hits a proton Detected through its excitations The Higgs field - a revelation It's giving mass to the massless Despite the symmetry controlling their interactions But all the media says is "who?", "why??", "what??!", "HOW??!!" In a time when there is starvation we need some proof of real-world applications There's the creation of the World Wide Web, cloud computing and, lest we forget, It proved the Standard Model so we'll do it 'til we drop Come on and let's dance the Higgs boson bop The Higgs boson bop (repeat)

about

£1 from each sale of this EP will be donated to the RSPB.

The culmination of their work so far, 'A Magpie's Nest' compiles together Division Order's songs in one place, many available to download for the first time.

The resulting E.P. is a wide-ranging, genre-hopping mix of sounds, taking in the twisted psychedelia of the two opening tracks and most recent singles, 'Mr Death..' and 'The Magpie's Nest', through to the French chanson inspired balladry of 'XYZ', the heavy and experimental electronics and soundscapes of 'Substitute Love' and The Last Living Rose', and all the way back to where it all started, the joyous DIY surf-rock-meets-synth-pop celebration of particle physics that is 'Higgs Boson Bop'.

Let's go!

Press:

About 'Higgs Boson Bop':
"The 21st Century spiritual successor to The Flying Lizards. A fun, feelgood, lofi retake of classic US pop music – that manages at the same time to sound completely contemporary and not take itself too seriously... surfs the waves of particle physics at a perfect pop length of 2.18. That’s the way to do it." Tom Robinson (BBC 6 Music)
